HS White Wraps Up Summer At Battle of the Bay

101 High School White Wraps Up Summer at Battle of the Bay

101 HS White, led by coaches Andrew Klontz and Joe Bialous, were in action at San Francisco’s Battle of the Bay tournament. The team played against very strong local competition and competed every second they were on the field.

Entering the final tournament of summer for this group, they were excited to be competing.  As the team fought through some tough games we saw huge improvements from players on the field.  The coaches were thrilled with the progression and continued effort to improve this summer.

In addition to ending the summer, the coaches choose one player to receive the 101 True Lacrosse Award for players who best represent the 101 motto of Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together, Have Fun.  Congratulations to Sam Fine (SHC 2020) on receiving this award.  He was awarded the coaches stick which was provided by True Lacrosse.

While this team has wrapped up for the summer, we can all be incredibly impressed by the hard work put in by all players and coaches.  This team faced challenges all summer long and never back down, never shyed away.  They stepped up and battled each and every day.  They are a testament to how we all should be approaching this game.  Playing hard, playing smart, playing together, and having fun!  Looking forward to these guys get a few weeks off before getting back on the field and helping them continue building their route to success!
