101 Lacrosse Invades Lake Tahoe

101 Lacrosse Invades Lake Tahoe

The 101 Lacrosse program ascended on Lake Tahoe this past weekend to compete in the Lake Tahoe Summit Classic. 101 Lacrosse entered 10 teams in the tournament from our Sonoma and San Francisco regions. The overall experience was amazing and the competition on the field was equally as good.

As the director of 101 Lacrosse, I was incredibly proud of each of our teams.  They competed with class and showed immense team camaraderie.  Both of these are vital parts of success on and off the field.

Multiple teams played through adversity and competed.  Our Sonoma HS Gold Girls team had 13 players (1 sub) and competed in three games on Saturday including an overtime loss at the height of the heat.  Impressive performance by all!

In addition, off the field, many teams got together for BBQ’s and activities on the lake.  These experiences are a crucial part of the 101 Lacrosse movement.

As we enjoy this week off for many families, we can also take a breath, gather our focus, and come back ready to put in some work to finish stronger than we started.

We’ve had a great start to our season, but I truly look forward to the finish.  It is going to be incredible!
