All five teams from the 101 Lacrosse Program took the field for the first time over MLK weekend in Indio at the Sandstorm Lacrosse Festival.
The Boy’s Program premiered their HS Black and White teams, U15 Black, and U11 Black. HS Black and U11 each finished 2-2-1, while HS White won their final game of the weekend, 6-5 vs. Santa Monica Dragons, in a stacked HS Open Division. U15 Black faced tremendous competition and took leaps forward each game, emerging as a stronger team and tighter unit! A huge thanks to all the coaches — Coach Jorgensen and Coach Sanford (U11), Coach Holland and Coach Sack (U15), Coach Klontz and Coach Ojeda (HS White & Black).
The Girl’s Program showcased their talent-ladened U15 Black team. This team was the story of the weekend under the guidance of Coach Gregorio. The girls came out with all cylinders firing, emerging 4-1 on the weekend, with the only blemish being a one goal loss. Keep an eye on this team, they have tremendous upside!
101 Lacrosse hosted a program wide banquet Saturday night at the Marriott Shadow Ridge Resort. Each team came out in support and shared a fantastic dinner, organized by the Grant’s (HS White) and a team parent from each team. 101 Lacrosse extends a huge thank you to the Grant’s and each team parent for their coordination in setting up this terrific event. There is nothing better than coming together as a friends and family after a full day of lacrosse.
Thank you to each and every family for their support over the weekend. We will all be together next at the Camo Classic!
