101 Indoor Lacrosse Leagues are designed to give players a chance to dust off their sticks in the off-season and improve their summer game by learning indoor and box lacrosse skills. Box lacrosse format is a faster-paced, 5-on-5 game played on an enclosed rink similar to hockey. Like hockey, the ball is always live. Everyone plays both ways which inherently improves game skill. Additionally, the skills required to be adept at box lacrosse have proven benefits on the field of play with improved hand-eye coordination, decision making, stick work, and shot accuracy.
In 2017, we will kick off the season with a box lacrosse clinic as well as assigned coaches for teams to ensure they are fully developing their box lacrosse skills.
