Tommy played youth lacrosse for the San Francisco Youth Lacrosse Club from 3rd to 8th Grade and attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in the heart of San Francisco. At Sacred Heart Cathedral, he was a four year starter at midfield accumulating 134 goals and 99 assists. During his career at SHC, he was 3x WCAL All-League player as well as a WCAL All-League Honorable Mention at Outside Linebacker for football during his senior year. Tommy was a member of 101 Lacrosse’s inaugural season. He’s currently an NCAA Division I student-athlete and midfielder at Bellarmine University in the Southern Conference.
Tommy lists his favorite hobbies outside of lacrosse as weightlifting and playing FIFA. “Weightlifting is a great hobby to partake in because it prepares you for success on the field and it is a good stress reliever”, explained Tommy, “I am also an avid FIFA Soccer video game player. It’s extremely fun to compete against my teammates in my down time in FIFA, we really get into the games!”
When did you find your passion for coaching: “After competing in youth and high school lacrosse for a large portion of my life, I’ve discovered that I have a passion for coaching. I am very thankful for everyone who has coached me over the years. I feel like it is my turn to help improve lacrosse in the state of California, like many have done for me. It’s important that the players know what it takes to play lacrosse in college, especially coming from a non-hotbed like California, and I plan to help them achieve this goal.”
