Get Recruited
What can/should you do?
Colleges can begin contacting you on September 1 of your junior year but there are several steps you can take beforehand to get on a college's radar.
- Create a list of potential schools
This is the first step to the college recruiting process. We highly recommend talking to your coaches to get a feel for what level you can play at in college.
- Reach out to schools / coaches
The next step would be to reach out to these colleges and let them know your summer schedule and what events you will be at. We highly recommend putting coaching contacts in these emails as well as any highlight tapes.
- Attend recruiting showcases
At 101 Lacrosse, we will attend several recruiting events throughout the year but there are several individual showcases that do not conflict with any of our events. If you want to be seen, the best way is to get out there!
